00:15 These are the free works of various visual artists

00:40 We invited all visual artists to participate in this contest
00:46 whether you are a newbie or a professional, you can participate.
00:52 Well, I think this provides a forum for them to showcase their talents.
00:57 After the pandemic, I'm sure they will encounter very few opportunities like this.
01:04 So, I hope we can provide a venue or a place for them to showcase their talents.
01:11 640 visual artists submitted their works made in acrylic and oil painting.
01:19 From us, 12 were selected as finalists.
01:23 Our basis in selecting the winners is based on composition.
01:29 We follow the team of an artist.
01:36 Colors, rendering, everything.
01:39 The theme of the contest is not about helping,
01:44 that's why the spirit of the country can be seen in the works.
01:48 We have no other reason for existing. PCSO was established to create works.
01:54 There is no other reason.
01:57 As a government corporation, we do not retain any earnings from our fundraising activities.
02:04 We channel all of these to the works.
02:09 PCSO is already known in the whole Philippines.
02:15 It is respected and has credibility.
02:18 Our mission is to unite the artists to give inspiration.
02:32 Five well-known and free visual artists of the country were selected
02:38 to be the 12 finalists, where the winner will receive 1 million pesos.
02:47 The top prize, the champion, will receive 1 million pesos.
02:52 But the prize is still high.
02:56 The second place, 250,000 pesos. Third place, 150,000 pesos.
03:06 There are finalists who will receive 75,000 pesos each.
03:12 There are 9 finalists.
03:14 Next month, we will announce who will be in the top 3.
03:19 PCSO's leadership was happy to announce the winner.
03:26 PCSO has a message for those who did not win.
03:31 I hope that you will not be defeated.
03:36 Keep on trying.
03:38 I'm sure that if you do not win, you will discover your work.
03:45 For aspiring visual artists, watch out for the Nationwide Art Contest next year.
