00:00 And from the launch of the future investment initiative in its seventh version here in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh,
00:07 we are pleased to welcome Mr. Ahmed Bouchnaq, who is the President and Director of the Beninco office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
00:14 Mr. Ahmed, welcome to us.
00:16 Welcome. Thank you.
00:18 Today, we see that the FII agenda is focusing on the diversification of the economy and the direction towards sustainability and renewables.
00:28 Let's start with the focus on the private sector in different sectors.
00:34 To what extent do you think it supports the Saudi companies' direction towards consultancy,
00:40 that is, towards the field of work of Beninco companies?
00:43 Thank you again for the invitation.
00:45 There are two parts to answer this question.
00:47 The first part is the need of companies from different sectors to diversify the economy in Saudi Arabia
00:54 for strategic and administrative consultations at the company level.
00:59 Strategies on how to develop the sector, how to sustain this sector,
01:04 and the role of consulting companies such as Beninco in transferring the global experience and knowledge
01:10 that it has from its offices around the world to the Kingdom.
01:13 The other side is the need for the resources in the consulting sector,
01:20 whether Saudi or non-Saudi, to be present in the country to support this sector.
01:26 Previously, I think the focus was on non-Saudi, foreign resources, but now the message has been reflected.
01:34 Of course, from the start of the vision, I mean, I have been in the consulting sector for 13 years now,
01:40 and I started in 2010 with Beninco.
01:42 At that time, the number of Saudis or Gulf people in this sector was very limited,
01:48 not even 1%, but today, with the launch of the vision and the need for consultations in the country,
01:55 there has been a great development and development of human resources at the level of consultations.
02:01 When you look at the situation in the sectors, which sectors do you see the highest demand for consultations?
02:09 Of course, the vision of the Kingdom was focused on the economic diversification in the non-oil sector.
02:16 This reflects the results of Saudi Arabia.
02:19 Even the Minister of Finance mentioned that the growth in the non-oil sector was 6% in 2023.
02:27 This, of course, gives Saudi Arabia new opportunities, on the one hand, for investors,
02:33 where they can invest their money and in which sectors, and also in employment.
02:37 New sectors have been created, tourism, car manufacturing, all new sectors targeted for 2030.
02:45 From today, as a country, we invest in human resources to develop these sectors.
02:51 Of course, you are widespread in the Middle East in general, extensively.
02:56 Do you have strategic plans for expansion to countries that have not yet had the opportunity to open offices in?
03:05 Of course, if I am going to talk about the Gulf or the Middle East,
03:11 Saudi Arabia is the strongest economy in this region.
03:17 So, we have been focusing a lot on Saudi Arabia during this period of growth,
03:23 in expanding and expanding our prospects.
03:26 Of course, our beginnings were in the United Arab Emirates, in the Gulf,
03:32 but the opportunities and vision that Saudi Arabia is aiming for the future, for 2030,
03:40 guarantee that all resources, efforts and investments in this sector will be invested in the Kingdom.
03:46 Indeed, thank you very much.
03:48 I wish you all the best in your work, Mr. Ahmed Bouchnak,
03:52 who is the President of Beninco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
