00:05 There was some disruption to rail services from Manchester Airport Station before 9am
00:09 on the 25th of October due to a fault with the signalling system. According to National
00:15 Rail, some lines were blocked between the airport station and Manchester Piccadilly.
00:20 A man has been left with life-changing injuries after a hit and run in Blacklea. The 51-year-old
00:26 was struck by a vehicle at around 9.25pm on the 24th of October on Rochdale Road and was
00:33 rushed to hospital from the scene.
00:35 And finally, American Fried Chicken restaurant Popeyes is opening its first site in Manchester
00:41 on Thursday the 26th of October. The first few people in the queue have a chance to get
00:46 free chicken sandwiches when the restaurant opens its doors at 11am.
