00:02 This is the Chevrolet Bolt,
00:06 GM's electric car for the masses.
00:09 For the 2020 model year,
00:16 the Bolt receives one big change,
00:18 and that's more range.
00:21 Chevy was able to squeeze out an extra 21 miles.
00:26 Now, the Bolt can travel 259 miles on a single charge,
00:31 giving it a small edge over competitors
00:34 like the Nissan Leaf Plus, Kia Niro EV,
00:38 and Hyundai Kona Electric.
00:41 The Bolt makes a healthy 200 horsepower
00:43 and 266 pound feet of torque.
00:46 That's enough to propel it from zero to 60 miles per hour
00:51 in 6.3 seconds.
00:53 The Bolt came to a complete stop in 123 feet.
00:57 Next, we tested the Bolt's handling
00:59 around the figure eight and the skid pad.
01:02 Road test editor, Chris Walton,
01:04 said the steering is highly accurate and well-weighted,
01:07 but it has a bit of an artificial feel.
01:10 We doubt most customers will take their Bolt to the track,
01:13 but it's good to know the car performs well
01:16 when pushed to its limits.
01:18 Although there are plenty of electric vehicles
01:20 on the market now,
01:21 the Bolt is definitely still worth a look.
