00:05 been teaching one of our daycare dogs, Loki, some basic three skills that are required

00:13 for, or would be helpful for people who would wish to start a snake avoidance course.

00:19 The first one is what we call a marker, which is when I say yes, when he does the right

00:24 behaviour and I reward him.

00:26 The second is what we call a recall, which is when we call their name, we ask them to

00:30 come to us and they stop what they're doing and they run to us and they accept their reward.

00:37 And the third one is what we call a target touch.

00:40 So we use two fingers, but it could be anything, and I just put the two fingers out, his job

00:45 is to touch his nose on there, I say yes, I give him a treat.

00:49 And that's as simple as it is.
