00:00 Malo, you're flying high right now with Monaco.
00:03 How does that translate to the national team?
00:05 Yeah, I mean, it's been a good start to the season.
00:11 And of course, I came out here with the team last camp,
00:15 and I needed to get some fitness.
00:17 And the team helped me to do that.
00:18 So then when I went back to Monaco,
00:19 they put me in a good position.
00:21 Now I'm coming back into camp with better fitness
00:23 and a few goals.
00:25 So I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow.
00:26 Outside of Copa America, I understand
00:28 this might be the toughest opponent you guys face
00:30 in the lead up to the 2026 season.
00:32 How much are you guys looking forward to that opportunity?
00:35 Yeah, as I said before, we need to play against the best teams.
00:38 And Germany definitely is one of them.
00:40 So it's a great opportunity for us to match ourselves
00:44 and see where we're at against such a good side.
00:46 And I'm sure we'll be able to do well and put
00:48 in a good performance tomorrow.
00:49 A sellout expected close to 40,000 people.
00:52 How much are you looking forward to that environment?
00:55 It's amazing.
00:56 I mean, whenever you have a packed stadium with especially
01:00 the home fans cheering you on, it
01:01 always gives you extra motivation.
01:03 So we'll be looking to come out here tomorrow
01:05 and make a statement and obviously make them proud.
01:07 Keep them something to cheer about.
01:11 How has this young generation of players
01:13 helped your adaptation and then play yourself
01:16 coming into a group where you're all players right around your age?
01:20 Yeah, I think it's good.
01:22 As you said, a lot of young players.
01:24 So coming into camp, we have a lot of similarities and just
01:28 things in common we can speak about.
01:30 So I mean, it's really helpful for me.
01:32 And everyone's been really friendly, really helpful
01:35 with me, helping me to settle in.
01:36 And I mean, the transition for me has been pretty smooth.
01:39 As far as adapting to the new team,
01:41 you just came in here a few weeks ago.
01:44 So what are you seeing in yourself as far as adaptation
01:47 and fitting into the team?
01:48 It's just understanding the way Greg wants us to play,
01:52 the way he wants us to carry out certain jobs.
01:55 And I mean, yes, it's a constant process.
01:57 There's a lot of information to take in and not a lot of time
02:01 that we get on camp.
02:01 I think only about 10 days.
02:03 So I mean, as I said, every day is a learning opportunity.
02:07 And I'm for sure I can see the improvements I'm making.
