00:00 The government is waiting for any chance to return to the Philippines.
00:05 The Filipinos are stuck in the chaos in Israel and Gaza.
00:09 One of the people who returned from Israel,
00:11 has a story to tell us.
00:14 Let's listen to JP Soriano's story.
00:17 The wife of one of the still missing OFWs in Israel, Clarice, is about to lose her teeth
00:27 due to the intense concern.
00:30 Since Hamas attacked the southern Israel,
00:33 where her sister, Jelena Noor, is working as a caregiver,
00:38 there is still no guarantee of what will happen to our countrywoman.
00:42 The day she went missing was a long time ago.
00:46 It was hard.
00:47 So, six months? Six or seven?
00:50 We were waiting for our children.
00:54 We were hoping that she would return safely.
00:58 Clarice said that she saw in a viral video
01:02 a man who looks like her husband, who was kidnapped by Hamas.
01:07 But the Philippine Embassy in Israel has not yet received confirmation
01:11 that Hamas is a Filipino.
01:14 So, Jelena Noor is one of the three Filipinos who are still missing.
01:20 I really hope and pray that we will find these people.
01:28 A Filipino woman who returned from Israel last night is in good health.
01:35 The Filipino woman, Angeline Perez, was very sad
01:38 when her parents, daughter, and other relatives met her at the airport.
01:43 She was forced to go home by her husband, Israeli, for her own safety.
01:48 It was hard.
01:50 Even though I was far away, I was thinking about what I left behind.
01:55 I was really saddened by what happened to the people who were with me.
02:02 Even though they were young, they were with me.
02:05 The repatriation of Filipinos from Israel and Gaza
02:10 is now being targeted by the Philippine officials.
02:13 The big problem is how they will be able to travel to the airports and borders of other countries.
02:20 The most important thing here is that the government of Israel is with us.
02:26 They are not leaving us.
02:28 It is their military that is looking for our countrymen.
02:33 The Department of National Defense is also ready to carry out the repatriation
02:37 if President Marcos orders it.
02:40 But we stand ready to do whatever is required of us.
02:44 So that if, when and if repatriation is needed,
02:50 we can decide what is the most expeditious means possible.
