00:00 Hello and welcome back to another episode of Screen Babble Weekend Watch.
00:03 I'm Stephen, National World's Digital Trends Writer,
00:05 and I'll be talking you through the best TV shows and films coming to TV
00:09 and streaming this weekend and beyond.
00:12 So we've got another busy Friday.
00:14 We have new Netflix film, The Conference.
00:17 This is a Swedish slasher comedy in time for Halloween.
00:22 Follows a team-building conference where a mysterious
00:27 figure begins to mercilessly kill off those attending.
00:31 So that should be worth your time coming on Friday the 13th to Netflix.
00:36 Then in cinemas on Friday, we have The Heiress Tour,
00:40 the Taylor Swift concert experience film.
00:44 It's an almost three hours documentary film, basically, of her concert.
00:50 Expected to be packed full of Swifties.
00:53 Pre-sales have broken records.
00:56 The movie's expected to make £150-200 million opening weekend,
01:00 which would be a record for any concert film.
01:03 So if you do want to go see it this weekend, probably book your tickets soon.
01:08 Then also on Friday, we have the new season of Frasier.
01:13 This comes 19 years after the series ended.
01:17 It aired for 11 seasons from 1993 to 2004,
01:21 with Kelsey Grammer starring as the titular Frasier.
01:25 Kelsey Grammer returns in this reboot, sequel, whatever you want to call it.
01:30 Only Fools and Horses star Nicholas Lindhurst is also on board
01:33 as Frasier's college friend, Alan.
01:36 There'll be episodes airing on Paramount+ from Friday the 13th,
01:42 episodes airing in weekly installments thereafter.
01:46 Then again on Friday, we have season one of Goosebumps.
01:50 This is a rebooted series of the children's horror drama series.
01:56 It's PG-rated again, and we'll see five high school friends
02:02 accidentally unleash supernatural forces on their hometown
02:06 and then sort of scramble to undo the damage that they've just sort of caused.
02:12 So this is coming to Disney+.
02:15 From Friday, again, there'll be five episodes airing on Friday the 13th,
02:20 and then the remaining five episodes will be airing weekly.
02:24 Then another big release that people will have been waiting a long time for,
02:28 season seven of Rick and Morty.
02:30 This will be coming to E4 on Monday the 16th,
02:35 and then airing online on Channel 4 Online as well.
02:40 There's 10 episodes in the series.
02:42 They'll be released in weekly installments.
02:44 And due to the issues, the legal issues affecting Justin Roiland,
02:49 he's been replaced.
02:51 He will not be voicing Rick Sanchez anymore.
02:53 They've got a sound-alike on board instead.
02:56 Whereas in Solar Opposites,
02:57 they went with a completely different voice actor this time.
03:00 They've got a sound-alike on board to sort of have a continuity of the series.
03:05 And the new series will see Rick Sanchez once again
03:11 turn his back on his family in his obsession with finding Rick Prime.
03:15 That will be the main thrust of the new series.
03:17 And then lastly this week, we have The Devil on Trial.
03:20 This is a horror documentary coming to Netflix.
03:24 It explores the true story of an apparent exorcist that happened in real life,
03:30 of a young boy and a grisly murder that followed the event.
03:35 Again, coming in time for Halloween.
03:37 That comes to Netflix on Tuesday the 17th.
03:40 Will be well worth a watch.
03:41 It's about 80 minutes long.
03:43 Okay, that's all from me.
