00:01 - Hey, remember me?

00:03 The first group date has been a lot of fun,

00:06 but I really want to have a conversation with Nancy

00:10 because during the photo shoot,

00:12 I noticed that Nancy just wasn't herself.

00:15 Perhaps it was an attitude towards me

00:18 or a problem with the women in the house.

00:20 I'm not sure.

00:21 I was looking forward to talking to you, okay?

00:25 But it seems like we're missing each other,

00:28 that there's a disconnect.

00:31 And I'm wondering if there's something wrong

00:34 or if it's--

00:35 - Oh, today? - Yeah.

00:36 - Well, I'll be honest with you.

00:40 I haven't had a wedding dress on for, gosh, 36 years.

00:45 And it was when I married the love of my life.

00:49 - Oh, Nancy. - No.

00:51 And I was like, this evokes and brings up

00:54 so many emotions that we're all good.

00:58 I was lucky to have my husband.

01:02 I was lucky he's the father of my three children.

01:04 But just having on a wedding dress,

01:07 like I don't know, it was overwhelming.

01:09 - I can relate to what happened to you today.

01:13 I was walking two years, well, that was a year ago,

01:16 one year ago, and I walked in front of this bakery

01:20 and the smell of cinnamon hit me.

01:22 And my wife used to make cinnamon balls at Christmas.

01:27 And that instant when I smelled the cinnamon

01:29 got me just about as hard as the wedding dress got you.

01:34 - And you didn't expect it, right?

01:36 - No, that's the worst of it.

01:37 It just comes out of nowhere.

01:40 - I, you know, even though I was sad earlier,

01:43 I still felt hopeful.

01:46 So there's joy in remembering,

01:51 but then I still have hope moving forward.

01:54 And I think that's really important.

01:56 - That's awesome.

01:56 - Thank you.

01:57 - Would you give me a hug?

01:58 - Ah!

01:59 - Oh, really? - Thank you so much.

02:01 - Sharing what we did today was a huge step.

02:05 And talking to Gary today, I felt comfortable.

02:10 He's very genuine.

02:13 I feel a lot better now.

02:15 And I think he made me feel that way.
