Pilot Transport at the 2015 Car Craft Summer Nationals

Brian Measel gives us the in's and out's of the car transportation business and what puts Pilot Transport at the top of the list.

00:08 Pilot Transport is one of those companies that believes nobody should be left behind

00:12 and you know you guys have been such a big partner with the Hot Rod Power Tour, with

00:16 Road Kill, with Hot Rod Garage, all these different programs, all these different things

00:20 surrounding motorsports.

00:21 I mean what's it like to meet all the people here at the Car Craft Summer Nationals?

00:25 It's a very interesting cross section of people that drive hot rods and have all different

00:31 types of questions and how far, how much, and does it take, and whether our car is running

00:37 or not running.

00:38 They have a fascination with big rigs and what we do haul and it's a wonderful experience.

00:43 I enjoy getting out and doing it and it gets me off the road for a little bit.

00:47 You guys don't leave the side of these cars?

00:49 No, we do not.

00:51 And they're under lock and key at all times.

00:53 We're even requested sometimes even under lock and key to even cover the vehicles inside

00:58 the trailer.

00:59 No, and he's just throwing that out there.

01:01 I mean in real life I've seen these guys, they don't even leave the side of the trailer.

01:06 That's why they have sleepers, they're security, because some of these cars are one off mules

01:11 that you know from manufacturers and things like that that nobody's ever seen.

01:14 You know it's a feeling I get that nobody gets left behind with you guys.

01:18 And you know we try and do our best to get broke down vehicles onto the trailer.

01:23 We do have very few trailers that are set up with a winch in case they are broke down.

01:28 We pull it on by ourselves, but we prefer to have help try and push it on.
