The 2025 Ram 2500 Rebel Isn't Your Standard Ram HD

00:00Blake! What's up? Sean, what did you bring today? I brought us a new truck to play with. This is

00:13the 2025 Ram 2500 HD. This isn't your standard HD though. This is the Rebel HD with updated

00:21Bilstein shocks, skid plates, exposed tow hooks, locking rear differential, and aggressive knobby

00:29tires. And you know what? This truck can still do the work. Because all 2025 Rams that are

00:34equipped with the available 6.7 liter Cummins turbo diesel engine, like this Rebel HD, deliver

00:39430 horsepower and 1075 pound-feet of torque. And they're paired with a brand new 8-speed

00:46torque flight transmission. Thanks to that transmission, driving up inclines is even easier

00:51than before. And going downhill, no problem with the integrated exhaust brake. My feet are

00:56currently hovering over the pedals. I haven't even had to touch anything because of this

00:59exhaust brake. And if I do, the trailer adjustment and the pinchers are right there to save my

01:04ass. Yeah, and other areas of improvement include startability, durability, serviceability, and

01:10noise vibration and harshness. The best thing about the 2500 lineup is that this truck is designed

01:18for work and play. It's got rear coil springs on it, so whether it's loaded up or driving around

01:23it's empty on your way to work, it's still going to ride great. This truck is comfortable.

01:27You can't really feel the weight behind us. She's pretty planted. The suspension on this

01:34is set up for both comfort and tow and heavy weight. And right now, tow and heavy weight,

01:39changing my face. Yet, it's packed full of features. Yeah, especially on the towing side,

01:46from a suite of available cameras to trailer reverse steering control, convex and telescoping mirrors,

01:51and it even has an integrated trailer brake controller. There's also the 14.5-inch infotainment

01:58screen and the class-exclusive passenger display screen. Legit. Plus, the fresh new grille and

02:06headlights. Style check. All right, Sean. I'm convinced. If this truck can tow this smooth with a heavy

02:17payload, not going to lie, I'd just leave the trailer hooked up and use it as a daily driver. It's going

02:22to be really hard to fit it through the drive-through. You're right.
