Inside Distrikt as the Leeds club celebrates its 14th birthday

We speak to owners Rosita Rogers and Jonathan Simons ahead of the birthday celebrations.

00:03 We are District Bar and we're celebrating our 14th birthday next month.

00:08 Over the 14 years that we've had the bar for, it's been a real privilege to put on a host

00:13 of DJs here who have played for free.

00:16 Not for us obviously, but free entry for the public.

00:19 To list a few I think of Green Velvet, Derek Carter, Andrew Weatherall.

00:24 And then with the 14th birthday upcoming we've got some really exciting artists coming on

00:29 for that particular show.

00:31 So our 14th birthday takes place the 13th and 14th of October.

00:36 We've got a long list of DJs both nights.

00:39 We've got free food, we've got free drinks, we've got a 6am license both nights.
