'Dog heaven': dogs make a splash at UK coastal lido

Dozens of dogs are splashing around an outdoor swimming pool in southern England, as part of Saltdean Lido's "Dogtember" swimming sessions for both dogs and their owners.

00:30 Doctember is probably one of the most bonkers, but most fun events that we operate at Sordine Lido.

00:38 This is our sixth year of operating it and it's actually the biggest.

00:43 It's the biggest in the UK now.

00:45 So throughout the four weekends we'll have 8,000 dogs and people come and visit us from all over the UK.

00:56 It's really lovely. It's really nice seeing all the different kind of, like some of the dogs are really cautious of the water.

01:01 So you might see them over there in the baby pool and some of them have no qualms at all, just jumping straight in and getting involved.
