00:00 So let's just start on the offense, okay?
00:04 Jets have a good defense, we know it.
00:08 But still, you know, obviously just a real inability to get anything going down the field,
00:18 it stays there.
00:19 Obviously the Jets can cover.
00:21 Jets have a good front.
00:22 I was impressed that the Patriots were able to run the ball.
00:24 I mean, let's just say their commitment to the run, it wasn't incredible, but they ran
00:29 the ball 40 times, they really went for it.
00:32 But the passing offense, again, just kind of sputtering.
00:34 And again, 15 points, Belbelichick said it himself in the postgame, Taylor.
00:38 Yeah.
00:39 15 points isn't going to get it done most weeks.

00:57 Win or lose.
00:59 I'm glad he acknowledged it because I kind of felt like a jerk going downstairs.
01:02 Like at first we heard from David Andrews, who fairly credited the offensive line.
01:07 They didn't allow a sack.
01:08 They ran for 150 yards.
01:10 Like they answered two big question marks.
01:12 We were saying, okay, they can't pass protect and they can't run the ball.
01:15 They can't find balance.
01:17 And they did those two things.
01:18 And they're, I think, the only thing supporting them in the game.
01:20 Yeah.
01:21 And that was clearly something they wanted to do because they kept coming out in two
01:24 and three tight end sets, sometimes using Pharaoh Brown or pretty often using Pharaoh
01:27 Brown as a fullback to kind of diversify what they were able to do.
01:32 And we saw that really be the lifeblood of the offense.
01:35 But you know, the offensive line was really the only, yes, that's awesome.
01:41 We found some continuity.
01:42 Let's go.
01:43 But other than that, man, I thought that the downfield passing game, I tweeted that I wasn't
01:47 sure what went wrong exactly because this is the second of three games where they played
01:52 in really bad weather.
01:53 So you can't discount the fact that it is harder to throw down field in those conditions.
01:57 There were also times where it just seemed like the chemistry was so off.
02:00 I didn't know who was at fault.
02:01 But at the same time, like Matt Jones was throwing a few uncatchable passes.
02:05 There were two to DeMario Douglas that I think should have been penalties.
02:08 But the refs were really keeping flags in their pockets for some reason on a few plays.
02:12 But it really killed them, especially when they were third down in manageable situations
02:16 where they could have gone to the sticks or, you know, just shy of the sticks, maybe gotten
02:20 something.
02:21 And then instead you see them take a shot that's not even close.
02:23 Like that kept killing them on third downs.
02:25 You had some big conversions and then you also had penalties.
02:28 Like there was a one drive, you had three penalties on a three play drive.
02:32 You had the one for too many men on the field where they got bailed out with a really impressive
02:36 all be a completion of Devante Parker along the sideline.
02:39 And then Cole Strange had a holding earlier in the game that ended up contributing to
02:43 them having to punt.
02:45 So they didn't turn the ball over.
02:47 That was huge.
02:48 And I think that's a big reason they won the game, because I'm sure if one of those drives
02:51 ended in a penalty and gave New York some momentum or better field position, this game
02:55 might have gone a bit differently.
02:57 So there were big, big good things to take away.
03:00 Again, turnovers, offensive line play.
03:02 But the downfield passing game being non-existent was really scary.
03:06 And we'll see if it is a product of the elements, if it really is just the execution, because
03:12 next week they play in the Dome.
03:13 So there's not going to be any excuses.
