Working From Home Isn't Going Away

Work from home took off during the pandemic. But once COVID-19 is in the rearview mirror, there will still be a large work from home workforce.

00:11 Experts say the total percentage of work from home employees

00:14 will double by the end of 2021.

00:17 With this big change, one thing is for certain,

00:19 decades old workforce planning processes

00:22 will no longer work.

00:24 The remote workforce is here to stay.

00:26 And at the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic,

00:29 organizations worldwide either mandated

00:32 or encouraged working from home.

00:34 And now the total global percentage of remote employees

00:37 is expected to double in 2021.

00:40 And 76% of employees worldwide say

00:43 they wanna continue to work from home.

00:45 This trend isn't likely to recede

00:48 even in a post COVID-19 world.

00:50 Some estimates say by 2025,

00:53 about 70% of the workforce will work remotely

00:56 at least one business week each month.
