Deputies Profiling Tattooed Woman - August 10, 2023

On August 10th, 2023, a Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office deputy was transporting an arrestee from a disturbance call, when he spotted a tattooed woman at a local convenience store. He ran a warrant check on who he thought she was. That person did have an active warrant, so the deputy's supervisor drove back to the area to locate and arrest her.

It turned out that the tattooed woman the deputy saw, was not who he thought she was. She wasn't doing anything wrong, or at least nothing that they could arrest her for. She was profiled just because she had tattoos.

It further turned out that the woman he thought she was, was the person who had called in the disturbance call, so they were about to arrest a witness or victim to whatever crime was committed.

Additionally, this particular deputy is a full-time pastor at a local baptist church. I'm not a religious person, but I don't believe profiling people, harassing people who aren't doing anything wrong, and arresting crime victims is very Christian-like.
