Tuluyan nang pinasok ni Gela Atayde ang showbiz sa pagkakasali niya sa ABS-CBN teleserye na Senior High.   Natanong tuloy siya kung nakakaramdam ba siya ng pressure na maihambing sa kanyang inang si Sylvia Sanchez, at sa mga kapatid na sina Arjo at Ria Atayde.   Puro accomplished actors ang kanyang ina at mga kapatid.   Aminado si Gela na may nararamdaman nga siyang pressure, lalo na't magkasama pa sila ng kanyang ina sa unang series niya.   "Kaya ngayon pati sa Senior High nakatutok si Mommy. Minsan nga nagte-take kami 'tapos kita ko sa gilid through my peripheral, nakaganun na security guard sa akin, at nakatitig siya. Literal na naka-security guard pa na outfit.   "So, yes. There is pressure, a lot of pressure honestly. But so far, I asked a lot of help naman po from my mom and from our directors Direk Onat [Diaz] and Direk Andoy [Ranay], I ask for advice and everyone around me is just so welcoming and so helpful," lahad ni Gela.   Pangarap ba raw talaga niya na maging artista?  Sagot ni Gela, noon pa, bago pa siya naging dancer.   Bahagi si Gela ng hip-hop dance group na Legit Status na nag-uwi ng 2023 World Hip-Hop Dance Championships trophy.   Pagtatapat pa ng 21-year-old Star Magic artist, pangarap na raw talaga niyang maging aktres.  "It was something I wanted since, I think, I was born."   Lagi pa nga raw siyang bumubuntot sa kanyang ina kapag nagtatrabaho ito kaya siya na-inspire na pumasok sa showbiz.
