00:00Hi Atisa, congratulations. Thank you.
00:03My first question, you excelled in the pageant stage, no?
00:08Do you think you can carry over that or bring that success to Showbiz stage?
00:16Hopefully. I know that I'm going to carry the same values I had when I was competing internationally.
00:23So I'll bring hard work and dedication and hopefully that's enough recipe for success in Showbiz.
00:28Yeah. We saw how, with the preparations you did for Miss Universe now,
00:35you, pagdating sa Showbiz, how prepared are you this time?
00:38Oh my God. Zero preparation.
00:40Ano po talaga? Pumasok ako dito ng, I've never been acting, I've never been to an acting workshop.
00:47I don't know what I'm getting myself into, but it's honestly a surprise that I'm excited to see.
00:52Okay. Yeah. Happy International Women's Month. I'll give Miss Universe's question, no?
01:01Women today are being objectified and being sexualized when it comes to social media and even in politics, no?
01:08Ikaw, you are an advocate of women empowerment. We can see that. So what's your take on that?
01:14I think it's a deeply concerning issue that up until now, women are treated as objects.
01:22It's pervasive in our society, sadly, even with the recent news happening.
01:28And hopefully, I think it all starts with the perfect way of calling it out, making sure that it doesn't
01:35pass.
01:35Yung hindi mo siya papabayaan na mangyari lang. Kasi pag pinabayaan mo, you're also part of the problem.
01:40So calling it out is a great way to do it, to let people know that it's not okay to
01:46do that.
01:46Any message out there to netizens or to whomever who still continue to do this?
01:55I'm sure you, anyone who says anything, you have feelings.
02:01And knowing that, just put yourself in the situation, kapag ikaw yung sinabihan, how would you feel?
02:08I think it's not okay to make people feel a certain way, especially with the protection of online.
02:15You think that the person reading it is not a person anymore.
02:18But sadly, they are people. They have feelings and they have lives.
02:22And sometimes the things you say actually affects their lives.
02:26So please be careful what you say online.
02:29Well said at least. Thank you.
