00:00 Good afternoon, it's Chris here with your top three stories today, Monday September the 4th.
00:04 Number one, four arrests in South Yorkshire after gang with machete steal Range Rover and £20,000 from family home.
00:12 And number two, Emily Sanderson, man accused of murdering missing Sheffield woman, is due in court.
00:18 And number three, residents say Hillsborough Park has been out of commission for all of the summer following the Transylvanian Festival which left a mud bath in its wake.
00:26 That's it from me, have a great day and we'll see you tomorrow.
00:29 It's Arthur from the Sheffield Star, we're no more than out here asking people what their favourite sandwich shop is in the city.
00:35 When I say that, does anything come to mind at all?
00:37 Yeah, Lunch Stop on West Street is a good one.
00:41 Right, yeah, yeah.
00:42 Lovely couple that run it and number four, the Falafel and Hummus and Roasted Veg is it?
00:49 Yeah, it's a good one.
00:51 That's a nice independent place.
00:52 We've been out here and asked people and they've said things like Greggs and Flamin' Press and Mangy.
00:59 It's nice to hear an independent answer actually.
01:01 Anyone more come to mind? A bit of a toss up between them and others.
01:05 Sandwich Division I'd say.
01:07 Did you go to the one up the road from Lunch Stop?
01:10 I don't think I have now.
01:12 But it's good as well.
01:15 Because there's so many choices.
01:16 There's an awful lot of choices.
01:19 Sandwich Division is good.
01:22 Is there a favourite? Is there one that really comes to mind?
01:27 Or do you just go for something different when you go in?
01:29 You mean in terms of like...
01:31 I'm a chicken and bacon mayo man myself. What comes to mind for you?
01:34 Yeah, the Falafel and Hummus one.
01:37 I like meat but this one's just really...
01:41 It's just a good sandwich.
01:43 It's different.
01:44 Good quality ingredients.
01:45 It's either that or just the veggie hummus with extra jalapenos.
01:49 You've got to have a little bit of spice in your life, you know what I mean?
01:52 Yeah.
01:54 Oh and the cakes. The cakes are really big.
01:57 I love the cakes.
01:59 It's like camera shortbread.
02:01 We're no more than out here asking people,
02:03 "Well, Sheffield's been named the cheapest place in the UK you can buy a sandwich somewhere."
02:07 But thought it'd be a good chance to come and ask people what their favourite sandwich is and where to get it.
02:11 What's your favourite sandwich place?
02:13 It has to be Gregg's.
02:14 It has to be Gregg's.
02:15 Nice and cheap. Good meal deal.
02:17 You can get a nice coffee with it and all.
02:19 Right.
02:20 You get the same deal everywhere across the UK, I guess.
02:22 No independents come to mind, for example.
02:24 Not off the top of my head. No, no, no.
02:27 It's just nice and easy. It's just across the road usually.
02:29 You can't go five steps without bumping into one.
02:31 That's true. There are about...
02:32 I think there's more per street in Sheffield than in most cities.
02:36 I'm correct off the top of my head. Don't make it up.
02:38 I think you're right, yeah.
02:39 There's like...
02:40 Every other half step there's about two.
02:42 About two or three to every street, which is more than the UK average.
02:45 I'm being serious.
02:47 Mate, what's your favourite sandwich? Go on.
02:49 It is the Mexican chicken over-bite from Gregg's.
02:51 Nice sandwich. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:53 And I'll go with the toasties.
02:54 Alright.
02:55 Yeah.
