Leeds Town Hall newly-gilded organ pipes by decorative artistsfrom a firm called The Upright Gilders who have restored bits of it to how it looked when Queen Victoria saw it at the opening in 1858

00:07 And we're both here today, or for the next year,
00:18 working on the organ pipes,
00:21 taking them back to the original designs
00:24 and ideas, what they were done originally.
00:28 As you can see, by looking here,
00:31 and you can see all the lovely designs,
00:34 and at the bottom you can see the filled flock of flowers,
00:38 which Debra has done.
00:40 We're restoring the pipes, the façade pipes,
00:42 to the original 1858 design in methods and paints,
00:47 just as the Victorian artists since did in the day.
00:55 Now we're going to go in here.
