00:14 - In an interview for W Magazine released on Tuesday,

00:17 the Love and Death star opens up about the first time

00:19 he brought Kaley home to meet his folks

00:22 and they just couldn't grasp her name is Kaley.

00:25 "When I first brought Kaley to New Jersey

00:27 "to meet my family and friends,

00:29 "my mom's partner, who apparently was a Big Bang Theory fan

00:33 "was there and he kept calling her Penny."

00:36 - Who wants the last dumpling?

00:37 - Oh, me.

00:38 - Here's your penny, a moment.

00:40 We just had Thai food.

00:42 In that culture, the last morsel is called

00:54 So yeah, Tom's family, big fans, but Tom, not so much.

01:11 That's when Kaley hit him with the backstory.

01:14 Quote, "That's my character in the Big Bang Theory."

01:17 - The characters are gonna live on in your minds

01:20 and in your hearts and I think that's what is so special

01:22 about it, it's really touching.

01:23 - Touching enough to convert Tom into a fan.

01:26 He's since watched a few episodes.

01:28 In his review of Kaley as Penny, she's fantastic.

01:32 - It's amazing, it's a lot of fun.

01:34 - TV plays a big part in Tom and Kaley's love story.

01:37 For starters, the pair met in 2022 at the Ozark premiere.

01:42 - I went inside, I was so excited.

01:43 I just went with my manager and we met there

01:45 and it was love at first sight.

02:25 all bandaged up from carpal tunnel,

02:28 a result of holding Matilda so much.

02:31 - Some of you may know I have this major wrist and hand

02:33 injuries from holding the baby.

02:36 It's a very real thing, Google it.

02:38 - But Kaylee does what moms do best,

02:40 innovate and keep it moving, literally.
