Despite having many impressions and followers, Lucre expressed dissatisfaction with his ad revenue payout compared to accounts with fewer impressions and followers. Elon Musk, who owns X, responded to Lucre's concerns by explaining that ad revenue sharing depends on advertisers' interest in associating their ads with an influencer's content. Musk clarified that the platform cannot force advertisers to engage with specific content.
