Days after the meal-kit service Daily Harvest announced the voluntary recall of their French Lentil & Leek Crumbles, the company was hit with two lawsuits. The recalled product caused over 130 people to go to the hospital with symptoms that “puzzled doctors." About 40 of the customers who consumed this product also ended up having to get their gallbladders removed.
