Opening night of 'So What' art gallery in Skegness

'So What' art gallery has opened in Skegness with an exhibition by resident artist Steve Gould.

00:00 Hello, my name is Steve Gould and I'm one of the artists here at SkateNest. This is

00:07 the So What Art Gallery. It's sort of like So What about art, who cares what we do. We're

00:14 actually all about producing art and making art available to the local general public

00:21 here at SkateNest and hopefully we'll give other people an opportunity to come and see

00:28 So What Gallery, especially on Friday nights when we're at the So What Lounge Gallery where

00:35 we can meet other people and talk about art and hopefully allow other people to explore

00:42 their own art in the gallery as well. So we're looking at a long term project to make art

00:49 available for everybody in this area. Now it's a bit of a dream come true for you, isn't

00:55 it, opening this art gallery? It is, I mean a lot of places in SkateNest are struggling

01:02 for visitors and such like this and to have this place here now is fantastic.
