Three dead as torrential rain and heavy flooding strike Slovenia

At least three people have died as a result of heavy rain and flooding in Slovenia as continuing extreme weather prompts the EU to issue warnings for several countries over the weekend.

00:14 Dutch tourists. Residents of the central city of Selje were ordered to evacuate as the banks
00:19 of the Slovenia River neared breaking point.
00:21 "At the moment, the priorities are to solve the people who are still threatened by flooding.
00:28 The second priority is to establish a road network to receive additional facilities."
00:33 The situation prompted the EU's Commissioner for Crisis Management to issue weather alerts

00:41 Heavy flooding has also struck parts of southern Austria as persistent rainfall continues.

00:51 and southern Bergenland. New warnings have been issued in the districts of southeast
00:55 Syria, Deutschlandburg and Leibniz. Residents are being asked to refrain from non-essential
