00:00 A water bill arrears owed to the state government by Kelantan voters will be cleared if Barisan
00:07 Nasional and Pakatan Harapan wins the state election.
00:11 Kelantan Barisan Chairman Dato' Ahmad Jazlan Yaakob said it would be unfair to collect
00:16 the arrears from the public since the services provided to them by the past-led state government
00:21 have been poor for the last three decades.
00:25 "For us, it is unfair. Even in Islam, I have a view that if we do not provide the best
00:35 services to the people, how can we benefit the people if we do not provide the services?
00:43 Therefore, once again I say, the arrears will be cleared."
00:54 Ahmad Jazlan said this when announcing the unity government's manifesto for Kelantan on Saturday.
01:00 "A very high charge is imposed on every request to get domestic water supplies.
01:09 Therefore, the amount of charges will be reduced to the most appropriate and very competitive amount."
01:19 Barisan Pakatan also pledges to further empower Islamic development in the state by establishing
01:25 a Kelantan Tafis Quran and Science University College.
01:29 "For the newlyweds, these two couples are getting married for the first time.
01:36 We will give a little contribution to alleviate their burden and the burden of their families.
01:45 We will give RM2,000 to each couple."
01:53 To ensure all segments of Kelantan are able to own their own homes, Ahmad Jazlan said
01:58 at least 5,000 affordable homes will be built in the next five years.
02:03 Barisan Pakatan also pledges to stop collecting parking fees in the state, as well as lower
