She said Gerakan president Datuk Dr Dominic Lau was not really asked to leave by a local PAS leader as reported in the media.

00:00 Together with me today is our former boss, Dr. Julieta, former Cabinet Minister and my National Director.
00:07 So, you said that you're more representing Ganakan nowadays, right?
00:12 So, there is a lot of issue going on between Ganakan and the past, especially what we saw in Penang where...
00:18 I think there was a misunderstanding. I was there. I was there. So it was not really as what we depicted in the media.
00:24 So, they have interpreted, PAPH has interpreted in their favour to say that no to all this.
00:31 But it's not true because Dominic went there to say hi to Hadi because since the President is there, he wants to say hi.
00:38 But then because of the crowd there, he did not get to meet Hadi because of the big crowd and that kind of thing.
00:46 And he left. That's it. So, he was not asked to leave because they just said that Hadi is not yet there at that time.
00:55 So, there's no issue between past grassroots and Ganakan grassroots?
01:00 Of course, in the media there was an issue at Bayang Lepas because it was the Malaysian and why should you give to a Chinese candidate.
01:06 But they managed to resolve it and they gave to Dominic. And this is a stand of the leadership where they want to make sure that...
01:14 ...we are not too racist in the seats. That means anyone can contest in any seat.
01:19 So, if you're Chinese, you can go to Malaysia. So, I think we have to go away, done away with that kind of racist seat placement.
01:27 That's the way it is.
