We hit the Merrion Centre to ask shoppers about their favourite things to do at the weekend in Leeds.

00:02 We quite often like to have a walk around and look at some of the architecture.

00:06 There's some really nice buildings, there's a really cool blend of old and new.

00:09 So we quite like to go on walks, especially down by the docks.

00:14 Roughly the same sort of thing to be honest.

00:16 You like music as well?

00:17 Yeah I like music so going to see gigs is always good. There's lots of good venues and stuff around.

00:21 And who's your favourite, what's your favourite gig you've seen in Leeds?

00:24 I saw Banji while I got a porto, they were really good.

00:29 What's your favourite thing to do on a weekend in Leeds?

00:32 Walking on the canal.

00:33 And where's your favourite route along the canal?

00:36 From the Tetley Harbours up to Morley and back again.

00:45 It takes about three hours. I can walk up to 30-40 miles, like 20 back there and 20 there.

00:54 I enjoy walking, it's relaxing.

00:57 What's your favourite thing to do on a weekend in Leeds?

01:00 Studying, relaxing at home.

01:02 Yeah I would like to go and explore but this is quite not summer weather.
