Hey guys! Today I am doing a review of the YAHT club balance leggings! These leggings look a lot like Gymshark High waisted flex! They arent totally the same but I do LOVE them so much! Squat proof, camel toe proof, cellulite proof!

00:10 Today's video is really exciting
00:12 because I'm sharing with you kind of a new
00:14 upcoming activewear brand
00:16 that I've really been loving lately.
00:18 They just had their first launch in December
00:20 and sold out, which I think is so cool.
00:22 And just shows you that these leggings
00:23 are already doing very well.
00:25 The brand is called Yacht Club, but without the C.
00:28 It's actually for young, athletic, and highly talented.
00:31 And like I said, they're pretty new.
00:33 They just had their first launch in December,
00:34 but they're still going strong.
00:36 And these leggings are all in stock on their website

00:40 But today I'm going to be doing a review
00:41 of their Balance leggings.
00:43 So I mentioned a few videos ago that I found some dupes
00:45 for the Gymshark High-Waisted Flex.
00:48 And these were definitely some I had my eye on,
00:50 but actually these did come out
00:52 before the Gymshark High-Waisted Flex,
00:54 but I think that they just look very similar.
00:57 And I'm not going to do this video as a total dupe video
00:59 because they are about similar in price point
01:02 to the Gymshark ones, but I do feel like it's helpful
01:04 to have the Gymshark High-Waisted Flex
01:06 as a comparison to these.
01:08 Spoiler alert, these actually do leggings
01:11 a little bit better than the Gymshark High-Waisted Flex,
01:13 aka their black ones are actually squat proof.
01:15 So I'll get into all the details in a second,

01:47 So without further ado, let's talk about the leggings.
01:50 So first of all, these are called the Balance Leggings
01:52 and I have them in the black color
01:54 and the light gray color.
01:55 They also come in a regular gray color,
01:58 but the first thing I noticed about these
01:59 was they came in very similar colors
02:01 to the Gymshark High Waisted Flex,
02:03 which also come in black, a medium gray, and khaki,
02:06 but the khaki also really looks like this light gray color.
02:09 As of right now, their sizing only comes
02:11 in size extra small to medium.
02:13 I wear size small, so I would like to see more sizes
02:16 from them in the future, but like I said,
02:18 they literally just launched in December,
02:20 so I think they're just taking their time,
02:22 you know, getting all their sizes
02:23 and making sure that everything's going well.
02:25 So I hope to expect some new sizes from them in the future,
02:29 but just as a reference, I am a small
02:31 and they fit very true to size.
02:32 I wouldn't have sized up or down.
02:34 So like I said, I didn't wanna call these
02:36 a complete Gymshark High Waisted Flex dupe
02:39 because these are the same price.
02:40 They are $50, but with my 15% off discount,
02:43 they're about $42.
02:45 So still, I'd say like medium price range,
02:49 definitely not as cheap as my Amazon ones,
02:51 but these leggings are a really incredible quality
02:53 and there's no question about like squat proof,
02:55 camel toe, all that, we'll get into later,
02:58 but I do think these are very high quality legging
03:00 for the price and they offer free shipping on all orders,
03:04 which is always great because you hate getting
03:06 to the checkout and thinking I'm paying one price
03:09 and then shipping hits you and you're like.
03:12 So their logo is just a little vinyl
03:14 that they have pressed onto the leggings
03:17 and it's their YC Yacht Club.
03:20 It's very cute.
03:21 I appreciate how it's not super branded.
03:23 So if you liked the High Waisted Flex,
03:25 but you didn't like their huge branding,
03:27 these leggings are very simple from the back.
03:29 There's nothing and just the little YC in the front,
03:33 which I think is really cute and definitely subtle
03:37 and I'm always on the side of subtle
03:38 to no branding, honestly.
03:40 The fabric is a nylon polyester spandex blend
03:43 and I would really consider it very close
03:45 to the Gymshark High Waisted Flex.
03:47 It definitely has a cottony feel, not shiny or anything,
03:50 but it actually offers a good amount of compression.
03:53 I would say a medium compression
03:54 and because of this, I didn't notice any cellulite.
03:58 My double butt thing wasn't even showing through.
04:00 It really hid that very well and it's a very thick fabric,
04:04 but I didn't feel like it was overwhelmingly warm.
04:06 The little contouring on the side is thinner
04:10 than the rest of the fabric.
04:13 So this kind of lets your leg breathe a little bit more
04:16 and just offers a little bit of cooling.
04:19 And in general, the fabric and the stitching
04:21 are all very high quality.
04:22 The stitching between the side mesh paneling
04:24 and the regular fabric is very seamless.
04:27 It's just this kind of like,
04:29 this line similar to the Flex, honestly,
04:31 but no intrusive seams or anything.
04:33 And also, I didn't feel restricted
04:36 by the stitching at the crotch
04:38 and it's all holding up very well so far.
04:40 I haven't seen any loose stitches or anything,
04:43 which is great.
04:44 And yeah, I just think it's very important
04:45 to be able to have these stitches at the bottom
04:48 be flexible so you can stretch and everything
04:50 and I haven't noticed an issue with that so far.
04:53 One of my favorite features of the leggings
04:55 is their waistband.
04:57 It's about a three inch thick waistband
04:59 and it's double thickness,
05:01 but it doesn't have any seam at the top
05:02 so it's not going to cut you in.
05:04 But because it's double thickness
05:06 and this fabric already offers a bit of compression,
05:08 they really suck you in in the waist in such a nice way
05:11 and it hits just a tiny bit above my belly button,
05:13 which is my ideal place for leggings to hit.
05:16 And it does have a ribbed texture on the waistband.
05:21 So other details of these leggings,
05:22 like I said, the contour detailing at the side
05:26 goes all the way down the leg.
05:27 It's very breathable
05:28 and because it's just like this very subtle side stripe,
05:31 it just elongates your leg in a really nice way.
05:34 And in addition to that, in the back,
05:36 it has this little like widow's peak kind of detailing.
05:40 What I like most about these leggings
05:41 is that they're booty contoured,
05:42 but it's not overly contoured.
05:44 Like when I was looking at videos
05:46 of myself working out in these,
05:48 I really didn't notice right away that they were contours,
05:51 but I could tell that like my butt
05:53 was a little bit enhanced,
05:54 which I think is the perfect amount of booty contouring.
05:57 You're not getting that monkey butt appearance at all.
05:59 So if Gymshark was maybe a little bit
06:01 too much contouring for you,
06:03 I think that these are a great option.
06:05 They also kind of have a seam down the middle of the butt,
06:08 which also just kind of like separates a little bit.
06:11 And the contouring at the bottom
06:13 hits perfectly under my butt.
06:15 So sometimes, I know on my Gymshark Ombre Seamless,
06:17 this kind of contour hits like my mid thigh,
06:20 but they really place this right underneath the butt.
06:23 So it really, it almost like blends in
06:25 with like right below your butt.
06:26 It doesn't even look like it's there,
06:27 but it really, it just enhances.
06:29 So I am a huge fan of that.
06:32 It's also not too thick.
06:33 The Gymshark one is probably like this thick,
06:36 and the one on Yacht Club,
06:38 it's just like a little under crescent,
06:41 which is just a very nice way to enhance the booty.
06:44 And these leggings are also just hit just above my ankle.
06:48 So I'd say longer than a 7/8, but I am 5'9".
06:52 They're full length on me, maybe a tiny bit shorter.
06:55 These are also completely squat proof.
06:57 Even the black are completely squat proof,
06:59 which the Gymshark Black High Waisted Flex
07:02 were not squat proof,
07:03 but even in front of my bright ring light
07:05 with my butt right up against the camera,
07:07 these are totally squat proof.
07:09 And same with the lighter color.
07:10 So I'm just assuming that their medium gray
07:12 is also squat proof,
07:13 given that they were able to make a super light color
07:16 and the black squat proof.
07:18 So I think that is just so great.
07:20 So if you really can't stand non-squat proof leggings,
07:23 you definitely need to go for these.
07:25 These are definitely my ideal leg day pants
07:28 because they're flexible, offer some compression,
07:31 and are totally squat proof,
07:32 so you have nothing to worry about.
07:33 They are great performance leggings.
07:35 The mild texture of these really hides sweat very well.
07:38 Same with some of the contour detailing.
07:40 So I did two different kinds of workouts in these.
07:42 I did an upper body day, I did abs and cardio,
07:45 and I did a leg day.
07:46 And I didn't have any issues with the performance at all.
07:49 I haven't noticed any loose seams.
07:51 I didn't feel any tightness.
07:53 They really performed very well.
07:55 There's also no camel toe whatsoever, and no cellulite.
07:58 I'll insert video clips, but I was really surprised.
08:01 It covered both my double butt and the cellulite.
08:04 I think that's because of the medium compression
08:07 that these offer.
08:08 So overall, I'm really impressed by the quality of these,
08:10 the attention to detail,
08:12 and these leggings offer a little bit of compression.
08:14 You are safe from camel toe and cellulite,
08:17 and they're squat proof, which Gymshark, not so much.
08:21 So yeah, I can't wait to see more from Yacht Club.
08:23 I think that they could expand their colors,
08:26 expand their sizes,
08:27 maybe get some sports bras to go along with this.
08:30 I think it'd be really cute to have a full set,
08:32 or some tops.
08:33 I think tops would be cute too.
08:35 I just, I do not, I don't have enough workout tops
08:37 because I just have so many leggings,
08:39 and I forget that you also need to wear shirts.
08:42 Definitely make some tops,
08:43 'cause I think that this as a set would be so cute.
08:45 So these are definitely the closest things I've seen
08:48 to a Gymshark High-Waisted Flex Dupe.
08:50 I've been on the hunt,
08:51 and I really have not found any good ones
08:54 that look like good quality.
08:55 I wouldn't consider these exactly a dupe
08:56 because they are kind of similar in price range,
08:59 but they are very high quality leggings,
09:00 and are similar to the Gymshark ones.
09:02 So yeah, overall, I really recommend these leggings.
