04:18 to know.

07:30 On Tuesday, the United States announced that it is allegedly committed to finding the resources
07:36 for a Kenyan-led security force in Haiti.
07:39 The Washington administration, along with Ecuador, will submit a resolution to the UN
07:43 Security Council to authorize, in the context of Kenya's announcement, that it is preferred
07:49 to lead a multinational force in Haiti and deploy 1,000 police to help restore calm in
07:55 the country.
07:56 For months, the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the Haitian Prime Minister Ariel
08:01 Henry have been asking for an international intervention to help the local police face
08:05 gang violence.
08:07 The last UN mission from 2004 to 2017 is blamed for bringing cholera to the country and at
08:14 least 134 of its peacekeepers had been involved in sexual abuse scandals.
08:19 A year later, the local population and the international community rejects the presence
08:25 of a foreign military intervention.
08:27 On Tuesday, Russian Defense Minister reported that the foil an intended Ukrainian attack
08:45 on two of the Black Sea fleet ships.
08:47 Two unmanned boats were destroyed on Monday night by Russian patrol boats Vasily Bikov

08:57 More than 300 kilometers from Sevastopol, the patrol boats, the first and fourth guided

09:09 with no injuries or damage to property.

09:21 naval drones on Russian civilian transport ships en route to the Bocharov Strait in the

10:07 At the moment, the cause of the incident is unknown.
10:16 On Tuesday, Myanmar's ruling military junta has partially pardoned opposition leaders
10:21 Aung San Suu Kyi and former president Nguyen Minh.
10:25 Myanmar's military board announced a special pardon for former president Aung San Suu Kyi
10:30 and it came to the February 1, 2021, coup of states, where the military staged a coup
10:36 claiming that in November 2020 general elections had been wrecked.
10:40 Thus, they annulled the result.
10:42 Aung San's legitimate government was overthrown before the start of her second term and she
10:48 has so far been sentenced to a total of 33 years in prison.
10:52 The decision reduces the sentence by six years and despite the clashing of the commissions,
10:58 only five of the 19 charges have been dropped.
11:01 Therefore, Suu Kyi's annulled peace priority will not be fully released.

12:44 Welcome back.
12:45 On Tuesday, in a joint statement, the military governments of Mali and Burkina Faso warned
12:51 that any intervention against Niger would be considered a declaration of war.
12:56 Both countries further stressed that they will take self-defense measures in support
13:01 of the armed forces and people of Niger.
13:04 The statement further warned that action against Niger could lead to the withdrawal of Burkina
13:09 Faso and Mali from the economic community of West African states.
13:13 Both nations reiterated that their position is against the negative consequences of a
13:18 military intervention that could destabilize the entire region.
13:21 I refer to NATO's unilateral incursion into Libya, which led to the spread of terrorism
13:27 in Sahel and West Africa.
13:30 Colonel Abdullahi Maigan announced the resistance of regional organizations in imposing sanctions
13:35 to Niger.
13:36 The international governments of Burkina Faso and Mali first expressed their fervent solidarity
13:43 and that of the people of Burkina Faso and Mali with the sister nation of Niger, which
13:48 has decided in full responsibility to take its destiny into its own hands and to assume
13:53 before history its full sovereignty.
13:55 And second, to denounce the persistence of these regional organizations in imposing sanctions
14:00 that aggravate the suffering of the population and undermine the spirit of pan-Africanism.
14:09 Dallas military spokesman said that any military intervention in Niger would be considered
14:14 a declaration of war.
14:16 We refuse to enforce this illegal, illegitimate and inhuman sanctions against the people and
14:21 authorities of Niger.
14:23 Fourth, we warn that any military intervention against Niger would tantamount to a declaration
14:28 of war against Burkina Faso and Mali.
14:30 Fifth, we warn that any military intervention against Niger would entail the withdrawal
14:36 of Burkina Faso and Mali from the economic community of West African states and the implementation
14:41 of self-defense measures in support of the armed forces and the people of Niger.
14:47 Colonel Meyer also warned that intervening in Niger could destabilize the entire region.
14:52 There were consequences of a military intervention in Niger that could destabilize the entire
14:57 region, as was the case with NATO's intervention in Libya, which was led to the spread of terrorism
15:03 in the Sahel and West Africa.
15:06 The transitional governments of Burkina Faso and Mali are deeply outraged and surprised
15:11 by the imbalance observed between, on the one hand, the speed and the adventurous attitude
15:16 of some leaders, and, on the other hand, the inaction, indifference and passive complicity
15:22 of these organizations and political leaders in assisting states and peoples who have fallen
15:28 victims of terrorism for a decade and have been abandoned to their fate.
15:35 Meanwhile in Niger, residents at the country's capital, Niamey, talk about France's decision
15:41 to evacuate its citizens, along with other Europeans.
15:46 French politicians really have no reason to repatriate their citizens to France because
15:51 either say that we live in symbiosis with this French population living in Niger, so
15:58 they really have no reason to repatriate them.
16:01 As far as we are concerned, this is yet another failure on the part of French politicians,
16:07 and one that we all condemn.
16:10 I know very well that the French are not threatening.
16:13 Europeans are not threatening in Niger.
16:15 Not all Europeans have a problem in Niger, but we don't have a problem with the French,
16:21 European nationals.
16:23 We have problems with European governments.
16:25 If they say they were going to repatriate their population, they only have to repatriate
16:30 their army first.
16:32 On Monday, the governments of China and Pakistan threatened bilateral cooperation.
16:40 Both nations signed agreements in the framework of the visit of Deputy Prime Minister He Lee
16:45 Fan to Islamabad on the context of the 10th anniversary of the economic corridor between
16:51 the two countries.
16:53 Pakistani Prime Minister Shabazz Sharif and the envoy to the President Xi Jinping signed
16:58 projects in the area of agriculture, industrial cooperation, and transport and connectivity.
17:04 Sharif and Lee Fan expressed their satisfaction over the steady progress of the economic corridor
17:09 project and agreed to direct it primarily for the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
17:15 The economic corridor is a 10-year mega project that aims to connect the Pakistani port of
17:21 Wadar with the Xi'an autonomous region through a network of highways, railroads, and oil
17:27 pipelines.
