This year we celebrate our 60th Anniversary and we are having a Tea Party on the afternoon of 29th July.  We are expecting around 100 guests including the Mayor and his wife and some councillors.

00:19 celebrating Abbeyfield's 60th anniversary celebration.

00:25 And you've got a garden party here in the middle of the summer.

00:30 We have a mixture of our residents, our trustees, our staff, previous trustees, and people who

00:40 have been instrumental and volunteers, who have been instrumental in looking after our

00:45 residents in Ferry.

00:47 Well it looks like a fun day, you've got some guys singing sea shanties over there, everyone's

00:51 having a nice cup of tea with a garden.

00:53 Luckily the sun's come out for you today.

00:55 Yeah, we have been really lucky with that.

00:57 A bit windy, but we can deal with that.

01:01 We have a magician who's going around and entertaining everyone.

01:07 We've got the odd Wednesdays men who are singing.

01:11 And we've got hopefully food that everybody will enjoy today to remember a lovely day

01:18 for our residents as well as everyone else.
