00:15 We have a fun and exciting show planned for you today.

00:19 All right, today's the day that I find out
00:21 what house I'm in.

00:24 Yeah, all right, Gryffindor.
00:30 Now that I know my house, it's time to eat.
00:33 Breakfast appears.
00:34 It worked.
00:37 Oh, we're gonna eat.
00:38 - Hi, I'm Christina Ruiz.
00:46 I'm one of the owners here at Toasted Bakersfield.
00:49 - Hi, I'm Shaina.
00:50 I'm the manager at Toast Down Panama.
00:52 - So Toasted is an idea that came from my husband, Omar,
00:56 and he is a huge breakfast fan.
00:58 So it's everything we love and everything we can get creative
01:01 with when it comes to breakfast foods.
01:03 But we also offer an amazing selection
01:05 for lunch menu as well.
01:06 - We like to have fun with our menu and keep up with trends.
01:09 So this is our second annual Harry Potter week.
01:13 So we have different menu items from butterbeer pancakes
01:16 to a Hogwarts house flight.
01:18 We have butterbeer, butterbeer lattes,
01:20 and mocktails like our unicorn blood,
01:24 the poly potion, and also the Stardust lemonade.
01:28 - In addition to our special menus,
01:30 which are creative and fun,
01:31 we also have our regular menu always available.
01:34 Here today, you see the hot dang, which is everything.
01:38 All of your favorites, all on one plate.
01:40 It's incredibly amazing.
01:41 It's a lot of food, wonderful to share.
01:44 We also have our Babasitos Benedict,
01:46 which is really popular.
01:47 We have a huge Benedict menu.
01:49 A lot of people follow that here in town.
01:51 It's got chorizo, biscuits.
01:53 It's amazing, totally good.
01:55 You have to try it.
01:56 Over here, we have our goat skillet,
01:59 which is hot link chorizo tri-tip with house-made gravy
02:02 over our fresh baked biscuits.
02:04 Very popular dish here in town.
02:06 Here at our Panama location at 6603 Panama,
02:09 we are open from seven to 2.30.
02:11 We offer breakfast and lunch, also brunch.
02:15 And then we just recently opened a second location
02:17 in the Northwest.
02:19 After lots of people were requesting a toasted
02:21 on that side of the town, we opened at 1345 Allen Road.
02:26 And it's actually in our bootleggers location.
02:28 My husband and I also own bootleggers.
02:30 And bootleggers doesn't open until 11.
02:32 So we decided to take advantage
02:34 and start with toasted breakfast at that location.

02:58 - So after Harry Potter ends,
03:01 it's gonna be going until July 31st, which is a Monday.
03:03 And then we're gonna be doing some stuff with Barbie
03:07 the following week.
03:08 And then in August, right after back to school,
03:11 we have National Dog Day and we do a special menu for that.
03:15 And it's good for photo ops with your dogs
03:18 and a day out with your dog.
03:19 But we constantly have menus going to stay fun
03:22 and relevant in town.
