Loving mom surprises kids with new puppy 8 months after they lost their beloved Dachshund

It was a sentimental moment when Regina Smith surprised her kids with a new puppy.

"We lost our Dachshund (Rocco) that we had for 10 years last year in July," she told WooGlobe. "We were all heartbroken and I started looking for another Dachshund. Finally, around the end of April, we were made aware of this Dachshund puppy that was being rehomed.

"I contacted the owner and we kept it a secret just in case things fell through."

After getting the new pup, the filmer thought it would be best to introduce her kids to the puppy via a cute surprise, and well, their adorable reactions proved that her approach was perfect.

"Needless to say, I think the secret was a success; we named him Tito-Roc Brown," Regina added.
