00:04 injured at least 12 people. Dramatic video shows the moment it came crashing
00:09 down and we've learned the crane company had at least two prior collapses which
00:14 were deadly. ABC's Rena Roy has the latest. Terrifying video shows the
00:20 moment this crane caught fire before collapsing into the heart of Midtown
00:24 Manhattan. People below on the street running for cover. This video showing
00:29 panic construction workers inside the building. The crane was moving 16 tons
00:38 of concrete when it dislodged slamming into a high-rise then falling more than
00:43 45 stories around 7 30 a.m. Wednesday as morning rush hour began to kick off.

01:01 my face. Construction worker Delicia McInnis was working on the bike path on
01:06 the nearby West Side Highway when she saw the fire. She called 9-1-1. It's
01:10 scary you know you have so many high-rises going up. They have a building
01:13 going up every week. According to the New York City Fire Department 12 people on
01:17 the ground were injured including three firefighters. This could have been much
01:21 worse. Officials say hydraulic fluid leaked sparking flames in the engine of
01:26 that crane. ABC News has learned the company that owned the crane in this
01:30 incident also was involved in two deadly crane collapses 15 years ago. We reached
01:36 out to the company for comment and so far have not heard back.
