00:00 We have our video back.
00:13 Everything is looking great.
00:14 I have two cautions for you, Woody.
00:18 You can now see live views of the International Space Station rollout solar array as it begins
00:22 to unfurl as the space station flies over the coast of the southwest United States.
00:38 Everything is looking really good to us.
01:05 Again, well done you two.
01:06 Woody, again, you have to stay put, but Steve, you can get moving if you want to.
01:11 We're still well ahead of schedule, so you can stay and look a little longer if you prefer
01:15 it, but your next step is to pick up your green hook.
01:18 All right.
01:19 Can you head back and pick up my green hook?
01:28 Copy.
01:29 Woody, if we can, we'd love to adjust your HECA view a little bit.
01:43 If you could pitch back at all for us, we'd appreciate it.
01:46 Yes, you got it.
01:52 Thank you.
01:53 Woody Hoberg is continuing to monitor the IROSA as it deploys.
02:17 Meanwhile, Steve Bowen is translating back to the IROSA carrier to reconfigure the carrier
02:23 beams that previously held the upright IROSA.
02:26 These beams will need to be rotated out of the way to allow access to the lower IROSA,
02:31 which will be installed on next week's EVA on June 15th.
02:58 Sounds great.
03:07 Once fully deployed, the IROSA, or International Space Station Rollout Solar Array, will measure
03:12 60 feet long by 20 feet wide and will shade a little more than half of the original array.
03:23 Each new IROSA will produce more than 20 kilowatts of electricity, and once installed, will enable
03:27 a 30 percent increase in power production over the station's current arrays.
03:34 Hopefully those came out.
03:57 We're ready to go.
04:18 We'll have more questions and warnings for you when you're ready.
04:38 All right, I'm ready for copy.
04:57 Steve, warning and a reminder, grapple shafts and perfect coupling are no touch zones.
05:06 No sudden movements, quick grabs on the FSC.
05:09 Wait until motion dampens out before imparting loads on the FSC.
05:14 Don't simultaneously impart loads into the FSC.
05:16 This is for when Woody is also ready to translate.
05:20 And do not contact the IROSA blockade.
05:23 Copy.
05:24 Go ahead, I copy you all.
05:40 The International Space Station Rollout Solar Array, or IROSA, continues to deploy on the
05:45 Starboard Fortress, connected to the 1A power channel of the space station, as the space
05:49 station flies over South Dakota.
05:54 I do not have a fare lead listed for you, Steve, and no green hook drop.
05:58 Let me just confirm.
05:59 All right, that's fine.
06:00 I can confirm that now, Steve.
06:08 There is no action for a fare lead or green hook drop.
06:11 You are just translating directly onto the FSC from the Port Sedokart.
06:16 So do not take the POA path.
06:19 Do not take the POA path.
06:22 I will do that.
06:24 Stay from different paths at the same time.
06:25 All right.
06:26 Thank you.
06:47 Probably good for you there, Jenny.
07:12 I think my first pulse was C7, C8, correct?
07:20 A-frame, that's right.
07:22 You're going to be at stanchion alpha, and this is a Bravo 7 setting, so you might need
07:27 to get in a better brace position.
07:29 All right.
07:30 Don't pretend I'm working.
07:32 Copy.
07:33 Let me know when you're ready for settings.
07:34 Yeah, bye.
07:35 All right.
07:41 (banging)
07:43 (banging)
07:46 (banging)
07:48 (banging)
07:51 (banging)
08:14 - [Operator] Woody, we are nearly complete.
08:17 More words for you in a minute.
08:18 - [Woody] Okay, thank you.
08:41 - [Bravo] All right, what's the settings for C7, C8?
08:44 - [Operator] Bravo seven, counter two.
08:47 - [Bravo] Bravo seven, roger two.
08:52 - [Operator] Good read back.
08:56 You'll be releasing C7 and C8.
08:59 Expect eight to 11 turns.
09:03 - [Bravo] Eight to 11 turns, C7, C8.
09:11 Good words.
09:12 - [Bravo] Here comes C7.
09:16 - [Bravo] Hey, Janice, it looks to me like motion is stacked.
09:39 - [Janice] Yep, we're just double checking
09:40 that we can confirm a good deploy, Woody.
09:42 What would help us is if you could confirm
09:44 the bottom five magnets on both booms.
09:47 We don't need a heck of you.
09:48 We just need you to see that the magnets have snapped together.
09:51 - [Bravo] Okay.
09:59 11.5 and C7 has topped out.
10:01 Moving to C8.
10:02 - [Janice] Copy, C7 released.
10:07 You're go for C8.
10:08 - [Bravo] C8.
10:09 - [Bravo] And Janice, I'm thinking I might need to move
10:14 to see those.
10:15 Do you agree with that or am I missing something?
10:17 - [Bravo] Magnets.
10:20 - [Janice] Hey, from Woody, you will have to move
10:23 and you are go to translate right now.
10:25 - Right now you're seeing views of NASA astronaut Steve Bowen
10:30 as he works to release the beam restraint bolts.
10:32 He has already released one of them
10:34 and has a couple more to go.
10:36 - 10.6 turns.
10:37 - Copy, C8 is released.
10:42 Steve, still your PGT and translate to Stanton Bravo.
10:46 - Translating to Stanton Bravo.
10:51 (static)
10:53 - Steve, I don't see your plan.
11:14 We'll have you continue translation past Stanton Bravo
11:19 to Stanton Charlie because we have enough time
11:21 for a small efficiency here.
