00:00 Prince George turns 10 and his official birthday portrait has us wondering where the time has gone.

00:05 Prince William and Kate Middleton's oldest child officially reaches double digits, turning 10 on

00:11 July 22. In honor of the occasion, Kensington Palace has released a new birthday portrait

00:16 of the Prince. George, the second in line to the UK throne, wears teal trousers and a buttoned shirt,

00:22 with his sleeves rolled up in the photo, which shows him relaxing on a stone staircase.

00:26 The young prince has had quite a busy year since his last birthday, with increased royal

00:31 responsibilities. He served as one of King Charles' eight pages of honor during the new monarch's May

00:36 coronation. In fact, George made history as the first future king to assume a role during the

00:42 royal coronation. George has also occasionally been spotted out at sporting events with his

00:46 parents, recently the final day of the 2023 Wimbledon tournament, where his younger sister,

00:52 Princess Charlotte, made her debut at the annual tennis championship. The Prince and Princess of

00:57 Wales recently took all three of their children, hi Prince Louis, for a day out at the Royal

01:01 International Air Tattoo, the world's largest military air show. While it was a rainy day for

01:07 the fam at RAF Fairford, Will and Kate and the kids didn't seem to mind. Prince George even got

01:12 a chance to race the ramp on a massive C-17 transporter plane, which he did by pressing a

01:17 button with his dad's and the military's supervision. The same aircraft was used to transport

01:23 the coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II prior to her funeral last September. And as George walked

01:28 alongside his parents, it was amazing to see how much he's grown, nearly as tall as mom and dad.

01:34 The outing marked Prince George's second visit to the air show, he previously attended in 2016

01:39 at the age of two. Now he's officially turned 10 and it seems this future king is ready for what

01:45 the next decade of his life has in store. And so are we. Happy birthday George!
