00:02 I was reviewing what stocks members of Congress were buying and I noticed that Suzy Lee bought
00:06 shares of Full House Resorts last week.
00:08 This stood out to me because Suzy Lee is a representative for Nevada's 3rd District,
00:12 the same district Full House Resorts is headquartered in.
00:14 So I did some more digging and I noticed that the name of the current CEO is Daniel Lee.
00:18 And I thought to myself that there is no way a Congress member is buying stock in a company
00:21 that her husband is the CEO.
00:23 But sure enough, they are indeed married and they have a multi-million dollar stake in
00:26 the company.
00:27 Now here's where it gets crazy.
00:28 In 2020 when the PPP program came out, casinos were excluded from the program.
00:32 Congresswoman Lee was one of the main people who pushed for the program to include casinos.
00:36 And she successfully got the bill changed to include casinos.
00:38 Roughly two weeks later, Full House Resorts, the company owned and operated by Lee's husband
00:42 Dan, applied for and received $5.6 million.
00:46 Lee and her husband owned millions in stocks and stock options for Full House.
00:49 Full House stock went from a low of just 31 cents a share in March of 2020 to over $12
00:53 a share a year later.
00:54 That's an appreciation of more than 3700%.
