Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has secured one of the first advertising deals for his new Twitter show. He agreed to a seven-figure advertising deal with Public Square, a shopping app that positions itself as a starting point for conservatives to counter environmental, social, and governance policies. Carlson's departure from Fox News came after the network settled a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million. Public Square ads will appear on Carlson's show in late August. The CEO of Public Square, Michael Seifert, has previously expressed opposition to ESG and DEI policies. Public Square is preparing to go public by merging with Colombier Acquisition Corp.
