00:00 When a centre is in range, you need to take a step back immediately.
00:04 If you punch yourself, they might command to protect themselves at all times.
00:08 Good luck to you both, gentlemen.
00:10 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
00:12 CHEERING
00:14 It's been good fun with these two.
00:16 It was the first time around and it has been this time around.
00:18 But make no mistake, they know that this is more than fun and games.
00:23 They understand the business, the pair of them.
00:25 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
00:29 But they're aware that the brutal reality of this sport is
00:33 that the winner here will move upwards and upwards,
00:35 and the loser will not.
00:36 CHEERING
00:38 So they schedule for a Ben O'Reilly in the black, green and gold,
00:42 and East Tudge in the green, blue and white.
00:46 Tartan pattern on those blue boots.
00:50 Yeah, Vidal-Reilly straight away moving to his right, forcing.
00:57 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:01 Tadj Kamal to the right as well,
01:03 and what a right-hand-left combination from Vidal.
01:06 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:09 You see the ring positioning, Vidal moving to the right,
01:11 not many fighters do that,
01:12 Bernard Hopkins used to be brilliant at it,
01:14 and he's forcing his opponent to move in the direction he doesn't want to go.
01:17 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:20 It's a smart start, this, from Reilly.
01:23 Landed a right-hand there, the jab has worked for him as well,
01:26 that one didn't quite get there, he's gone up and down with it.
01:31 Left-hand got through there for Tadj.
01:34 Yeah, Vidal came back with a good right-hand,
01:36 and worked the body after that too.
01:38 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:40 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:42 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:44 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:46 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
01:47 He's had to change trainers since the first fight, Tadj,
01:49 it was Josh Burnham in the corner, Josh unable to...
01:52 ..work with him.
01:55 Told him that a couple of days after the fight,
01:57 there was no problem between the pair of them,
01:59 it just logistically wasn't possible.
02:01 So Kieran Duffey has taken over.
02:03 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:05 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:07 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:09 Nice body work there from Reilly.
02:11 Right-hand to Tadj, felt that one.
02:13 But he's still got his legs underneath him OK,
02:16 tries to come back with his own right.
02:18 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:20 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:22 It looks to me like he's been watching videos of Burnham Hopkins,
02:25 you watch Hopkins move to his right,
02:27 manoeuvre the opponents in a direction they don't want to go,
02:30 and he's always in a position to chop his right hand over.
02:32 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:34 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:36 Again, lovely right-hand work from the guy.
02:38 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:40 He's just bombing that right hand in, curling it round the back of the guard,
02:43 into the side of the head, round about the ear sometimes.
02:46 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:48 Tadj trying to double up on the jab there,
02:50 and again he just throws it.
02:52 As soon as Reilly looked to throw the jab,
02:54 then he's just scything it over the top.
02:57 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
02:59 And it's a clear Reilly round so far in this opener.
03:07 He won the first round of their previous fight,
03:09 Tadj got into it in the second, big right hand again there from Reilly,
03:12 which seemed to land pretty clean.
03:14 Left hand into the body, and he's letting those hands go.
03:17 The left hand in around the back of the elbow there,
03:19 I think might have hurt him a little bit there, Tadj,
03:21 I just saw a grimace.
03:24 Yeah, right hand's working really well for Reilly,
03:26 body shots good too.
03:28 Tadj struggling to really get into this fight.
03:34 Took that body shot well there though,
03:37 and he's tasked, but that was a dominant round for Fidel Reilly.
03:40 FOOTBALL PLAYERS SHOUT
03:42 Richard Rea-Ancourt, who has just been made
03:46 mandatory by the IBM for their Cruiserweight champion,
03:50 Jeyo Pettahia.
03:52 So it'll be interesting to see what happens with that.
03:57 You see him landing a jab and then moving his head outside the jab,
04:05 coming straight through there with the right hand,
04:08 snapping the head back of Tadj.
04:14 Again, nailing him with that right hand,
04:16 and you see him getting up to the right all the time,
04:19 moving that way.
04:21 Derek Dezora taking a seat.
04:30 You see Derek at loads of shows,
04:33 he gets out to live shows all the time.
04:35 BELL RINGS
04:37 He'll be in Ben Shalom's ear about something,
04:40 I'm sure about that.
04:41 So into round two, and that was a good opening round there
04:44 for Fidel Reilly, but Anis Taj won't panic.
04:47 He'll look to try and find a way into this,
04:49 just walks onto a left-hand there as he tries to get his own jab off.
04:54 There's that left of the body again from Reilly,
05:01 he's landed three or four of them now, right on the button.
05:05 Come on!
05:07 Takes his feet with him nicely there to land that right hand,
05:18 and he does look very, very sharp.
05:21 As I said, I don't think he was really thinking rematch
05:24 after the initial contest,
05:26 he felt it was a perfectly legitimate, comprehensive win.
05:29 And he's in here to prove a point.
05:33 To try and demonstrate to people that he is a level above his opponent here.
05:37 Well, he certainly looks two or three levels above so far.
05:43 And Aileen Taj at will now.
05:47 Taj, credit to him, showing good, solid chin.
05:52 Double jab from Reilly,
05:57 little bit of puffiness around the right eye there, I think, of Taj.
06:02 They were just a year apart in the amateurs in London, actually,
06:05 and they almost got matched a couple of times.
06:08 Reilly was a good, good amateur.
06:10 Took up boxing young, six years old, so...
06:14 Well, some people will know him from his involvement with the influence of boxing,
06:18 but he's been a legit fighter for a really, really long time,
06:21 and he's working Taj over a little bit here.
06:24 Oh, nailing him again, beautiful right hand, walked him onto that one.
06:31 Taj just leading with his chin there, took that one okay,
06:35 but again, it's the accuracy here from Reilly.
06:38 And Taj trying to come forward again, trying to let that left hand go.
06:46 I think he knows that he's going to have to do this the really, really hard way.
06:50 He's going to have to trust his chin
06:52 and see if he can walk Reilly down somehow,
06:56 see if Reilly ties it, if the snap goes off his punches,
07:00 because at the moment, really, that's kind of all he can do.
07:04 He can't stay out of the way of that right hand, it would seem.
07:07 And there's some facial damage there.
07:10 Again, getting nailed with the right hand.
07:30 Finishing on the left hand to the body there as well.
07:34 He's investing in that body work, and you wonder at what stage might that
07:38 pay off for him.
07:40 That's a big couple of rounds in the back there for Vidal Reilly.
07:44 Jab working well for Vidal Reilly, right hand is working well,
07:55 body shots good too.
07:57 And walking onto that shot.
08:04 Taking a lot of punishment here now, Taj, not really.
08:07 Not landing anything back either.
08:09 So if you're Taj, if you're in Taj's corner, what are you saying?
08:16 Because the only solace he can have here really is that he's taking
08:20 what Reilly has given him, and maybe he can't keep this up forever,
08:23 and he'll be able to get a foothold in the fight at some point
08:25 if he can just stick it out.
08:27 I think you've got to try and keep the pressure on Vidal Reilly,
08:31 try and make him work at a pace he's not comfortable with,
08:33 and at a damage limitations kind of mission,
08:38 check as little as possible what you're making him work.
08:41 Because you're standing back at distance, you're getting teed off on anyway,
08:45 so you may as well try and get close.
08:48 Taj at the start of round three, just trying to work behind that jab
08:53 if he can.
08:54 Right hand comes through from Reilly as Taj comes forward,
08:58 but he's trying to stay compact, but he gets his head snapped back
09:01 by the jab there two, three times, and a right hand from Reilly.
09:06 He's very compact, very organised, Vidal Reilly.
09:15 When he's on point he is anyway, and he's definitely been on point so far tonight.
09:22 Good double jab there.
09:23 Varied the height of it with the second one,
09:26 kind of jabbed the glove almost,
09:29 and then came up slightly with the second one and got through.
09:33 Just looking to dig his toes in on that right hand there, Reilly.
09:36 I would say in this game, he's got a bit of a bit of a knack for it.
09:39 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:41 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:43 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:45 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:47 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:49 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:51 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:53 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:55 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:57 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
09:59 He's got a bit of a knack for it.

10:13 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:15 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:17 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:19 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:21 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:23 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:25 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:27 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:29 He's got a bit of a knack for it.

10:43 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:45 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:47 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
10:49 He's got a bit of a knack for it.

11:17 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
11:19 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
11:21 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
11:23 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
11:25 He's got a bit of a knack for it.

11:57 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
11:59 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:01 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:03 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:05 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:07 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:09 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:11 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:13 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:15 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:17 He's got a bit of a knack for it.
12:19 >> Any final words?
12:21 >> No, thank you to everyone who's obviously turned up and is tuning in.
12:24 I appreciate it.
12:26 The love is not going to notice.
12:28 I can't wait to go out there and put on a good performance.
12:30 >> Well, looking forward to seeing Caroline Dubois, Jamie TKV down at ringside in the house.
12:37 Have a look at Fraser Clark.
12:39 And Fraser does get the win.
12:41 I'm sure he'll be doing his best to get up in the ring and see if he can become his next opponent.
12:47 He's been chasing that fight for a good while.
12:49 So into round four here.
12:51 Vidal Rielly, three rounds up.
12:53 And he's still in there.
12:55 Still working.
12:56 Trying to keep that shape.
12:57 Keep those gloves up.
12:59 As Matt said, he's not really looked like buckling at any point yet.
13:01 But it's just been difficult for him to really take too much encouragement from what's happened.
13:07 Because he's just not really managed to land much.
13:09 >> No, and I don't think he's been forcing a pace on Vidal that he's uncomfortable at either.
13:15 He still, to me, looks totally in control.
13:18 Totally in his comfort zone.
13:20 >> That was better from Taj.
13:24 Got a right hand through.
13:25 And did again there.
13:26 And that was a good shot.
13:27 That right hand over the top is something that he does throw well.
13:30 And Taj is looking to step on Rielly a bit here.
13:33 That would have encouraged him.
13:35 Got another one through round the back of the guard.
13:37 Rielly dropping his hands and nodding his head.
13:41 >> Yeah, much better from Taj.
13:42 That would give him a massive confidence booster, which he would have needed.
13:45 First success, really, of the fight.
13:47 Good right hand from him.
13:48 And now he's starting to get a little bit closer and have more success.
13:52 So this will definitely spur him on in the crowd, shout too.
13:56 >> Well, that was exactly what he needed.
14:02 And it was a significant blow that landed to him.
14:05 >> Good strike.
14:06 >> Right hand that gets through again there from Taj.
14:08 And this is a big round for him.
14:10 And this is the foothold in the fight that he needed halfway through it now.
14:14 >> He needed a big round, Taj.
14:17 And he's having one here.
14:18 That is some good shots.
14:19 >> Rielly with a good left hand into the body.
14:22 But I think one has slipped a little bit low there.
14:24 Taj's back was to it, so we didn't get a great look at it.
14:28 The first one looked okay to me.
14:30 The second one, I think, wasn't.
14:33 And he'll be given some time to just recover.
14:37 And he's Taj here.
14:38 He can have as much as five minutes.
14:40 It very rarely goes that long.
14:43 And he is going to be okay to continue.
14:45 And a breather on a night like this, outside of the minute in between rounds,
14:54 is not necessarily a bad thing for either of them.
14:56 Although that would have been painful.
14:58 And in the context of how the round was going,
15:05 Taj probably didn't really want that, did he?
15:07 Because it might stall his momentum.
15:08 >> Yeah, exactly.
15:09 He was having his best spout of the fight.
15:12 Gives Riddell now a chance to kind of regroup.
15:15 >> But it was that punch, that kind of slingy roundhouse overhand right almost,
15:25 that did some good work for Taj in the second round of that first fight.
15:29 Rielly, though, coming back here.
15:31 Sends his feet.
15:32 Combination to the body.
15:33 Left hand lands.
15:35 And Taj sacks into the ropes.
15:37 Gets back to his feet.
15:42 The referee has a good look at him, wipes those gloves off.
15:45 He's getting a few more seconds here.
15:48 Sends him to the neutral corner.
15:51 And he's talking to him still here.
15:53 And that took a really, really long time.
15:56 Because he got up by the count of eight,
15:58 but he would have had another eight there.
15:59 Combination comes in.
16:01 As does the towel.
16:02 And Fidel Rielly has closed the show in emphatic fashion in this fourth round.
16:09 He was under the cosh himself in the first half of it.
16:13 But then he got and he's Taj going.
16:16 The referee allowed him a long time to recover from that first knockdown.
16:21 Maybe should have stopped it there and then.
16:24 But as soon as Rielly started to tee up, in came the towel.
16:28 And that was impressive.
16:30 I think what was so impressive about Fidel Rielly tonight was,
16:34 yeah, he was in control.
16:36 And then Taj answered him back, came back at his best phase of the fight.
16:41 And then Fidel found another gear, another level.
16:46 Hurt him, rocked him, dropped him.
16:49 And then closed the show.
16:51 Really, real impressive style.
16:53 And then Taj showed a good chin and big heart to stay in there
16:56 and to come back after three torrid rounds.
16:58 But Fidel answered him with another level,
17:01 just even again, matched him and even higher.
17:05 That initial knockdown was heavy.
17:08 And as he was sinking down the ropes right above us,
17:13 he aimed another big uppercut, perfectly, legitimately, which missed.
17:17 And it was a good job that it did because if that had connected,
17:20 I'm not sure what would have happened.
17:22 Anthony Yard enjoyed that one down the ringside with Tunde Ajayi.
17:25 Plenty of faces here at York Hall.
17:29 A vibrant London scene, particularly around light heavyweight and cruiserweight.
17:38 And a good crowd in the house as well.
17:52 And just milking the applause there for Fidel Reilly.
17:55 And he's heartbroken and he's charged, he's put everything into this.
18:04 But this is a brutal, brutal old game.
18:06 And let's see if we can have a look at the finish.
18:18 Yeah, body shots, really good.
18:21 The right hand, the right hook there.
18:23 Ooh, left hook.
18:25 Lucky that one missed him.
18:27 It would have took his head off.
18:29 It absolutely would have.
18:31 He was just half complaining to the referee about a couple of punches that he thought were low.
18:36 You see him there, he's looking at the referee, he's complaining to the referee,
18:39 got hit with the right hand, and then he gets hit with the left hand that he literally didn't see.
18:42 Because he really wasn't looking, he slips down the ropes.
18:46 And this is the one I was talking about, the uppercut that missed, and I'm glad it missed.
18:52 Look at Andy Scott in the background there.
18:54 He would have landed on me.
18:56 But he was up against it in the first half of the round,
19:01 and there's the follow up and in came the towel, and it was the right thing to do.
19:04 But you know what as well, he wasn't looking, but he's protected himself at all times,
19:07 he shouldn't have been looking at the referee.
19:09 You know, Moeen, they weren't low, they were good body shots, they were borderline at worse.
19:15 But he got him nice and quick there, Mark Bates, and that was, as we said, that was clinical.
19:20 He boxed a really good three rounds, Tudge got to him in the first half of the fourth,
19:25 but then he provided the answer.
19:27 Okay, let's go to Big Mo.
19:32 Ladies and gentlemen, referee Mark Bates calls a stop to this contest.
19:43 At two minutes, 36 seconds of round number four,
19:47 declaring your winner by TKO and still undefeated,
19:53 Vidal Reilly!
20:01 Well he's made his point here tonight, Vidal Reilly.
20:05 I think it's fair to say that, and we'll hear what he's got to say.
