00:04 After 45 years, many things have been done, many are missing, but society has changed, the context has changed.
00:11 We must keep in mind that there will also be a COVID epidemic, which has also led to social isolation in many people, especially with mental discomfort.
00:20 The point is this, there is a big shortage in my opinion, which is that of staff.
00:26 There is a shortage of staff in the services, because the regulatory system, as far as it can be perfected, is a good regulatory system worldwide.
00:35 I think, however, that the response is lacking in terms of staff that can meet the needs of people's care.
00:43 This is a first point.
00:45 I would like to say that I would not like stigma to be replaced by fear in this cultural climate.
00:52 This seems to me a very important element. I would not like there to be a cultural backwardness, in the sense of a substitution of stigma in favor of fear.
01:00 We also take into account that people with mental discomfort are people who are afraid, but they are afraid to live in the world.
01:07 So they are people who need to be accompanied.
01:10 We see it in the proximity of the meeting with these people on the territory, in the various life events.
01:17 There is a problem of people alone, who do not have family support and therefore do not approach the care services.
01:24 And so there is all the work in bringing people who otherwise would not go to the care services.
01:30 There is the problem of young people, which in my opinion is a very relevant problem.
01:35 In the sense that for these young people the prospect can not be only that of a response, let's say, of care in the territory,
01:45 but also a commitment to a life project.
01:48 Life project also means employment, continuation of studies, accompaniment and support for families.
01:57 Support for families because often these families find themselves having to manage difficult situations.
02:02 Today families have changed, often they are families who work a lot, have great needs.
02:08 And it must also be said that they are sometimes single-parent families, a single mother who takes care of a child.
02:14 This is a very serious problem.
02:16 So in these cases it is necessary to foresee, not new services, but new forms of services.
02:23 Accompanying temporarily, for example, with these young people in the support that can be a temporary support,
02:32 or a temporary shelter, protected, and then put them back in the family.
02:37 by the interred infamy.
