Grieving mum whose son was stabbed to death sees bleed kits rolled out across country following campaign

A grieving mum whose son was stabbed to death has seen life-saving bleed kits rolled out across the country following a six year campaign.
Lynne Baird, 62, lost her son Daniel, 26, when he bled to death in minutes outside a pub after having a combat knife plunged into his heart.
He had been out celebrating a new job with friends when he was attacked outside the Forge Tavern, in Digbeth, Birmingham, in July 2017.
Carlton Donaldson, then aged 24, was previously jailed for life, with a minimum of 23 years, after being convicted of murder.
Since his death, Mrs Baird has tirelessly campaigned to prevent knife-related deaths and raised thousands of pounds to purchase the kits through the Daniel Baird Foundation.
