PLOT : During a confrontation with Officer D'Silva, a formidable mobster named Don (Amitabh Bachchan) is slain while evading the police (Iftekhar). D'Silva persuades a man named Vijay (also Bachchan), who is the exact replica of Don, to go undercover and bust Don's gang in an effort to take down the other members of Don's gang. Then, however, D'Silva is assassinated, leading everyone—from the police to the gangsters—to believe that Vijay is Don. It might be deadly if he can't persuade them to think differently.
