Adrift Lab classifies new disease caused by plastic ingestion by Lord Howe Island seabirds

Scientists have described a previously unknown disease in seabirds, which is caused by ingesting plastic. Scientists say the discovery is just the surface of a very deep problem with plastic pollution and could have implications for humans too.
