Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Malaysia’s halal market value is expected to reach RM400bil by 2030, contributing to 11% of the country’s gross domestic product.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Rural and Regional Development Minister, was speaking during a working visit to the Mara Food Industry Complex (Kimar) on Tuesday.
