Meikleour Fishings will once again hosts the official opening of the Salmon fishing season on the Tay today.
Novelist David Profumo and hopefully actor Burn Gorman open the River Tay for fishing
Both David and Burn are avid anglers who promote fishing and spending time outdoor for mental health benefits. They are also actively involved in Atlantic Salmon conservation, for example Burn recently sponsored one of the several restoration projects
managed by the Tay Rivers Trust. The 16th of January is supposed to be the dreaded “Blue Monday”, but no gloominess nor post-Christmas blues
