Images published by the Russian Defence Ministry on January 4 show the frigate, Admiral Gorshkov, departing on a training mission. The ship, sailing out of a Russian naval base, is armed with new Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles. Appearing via video-link earlier, President Vladimir Putin presided over warship's launch as it is deployed to the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean sea.
