An Umno division chief and two Umno Wanita division chiefs from Perlis and Pahang were sacked for campaigning against the party during the recent 15th General Election (GE15).
Umno supreme council member Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi said the trio were said to have also smeared the party when campaigning against Umno.
He told reporters after attending a supreme council meeting at Menara Dato Onn on Thursday night (Dec 8).
Also present was Umno vice president Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin who confirmed two other party vice president Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid were absent for the meeting.
