Iraqi Interpreter Refugees in Britain and America

As of May 2009, the British Government has closed a scheme that was to give safehavens outside of Iraq for Iraqi interpreters who worked for the British and American coalition. Some have been given sanctuary, but many were simply used and later received no help whatsoever from the U.S. or U.K. The closure of the interpreter resettlement scheme has been greatly criticized.
