Here's a cool recipe to make pumpkin treats without an oven using a cookie cutter and a pre-made pie. It was topped with whipped cream and pecans. The leftover pie was also turned into delicious cake pops.

00:00I'm going to show you a hack for making impressive holiday treats without even having to turn on your oven.
00:04For this first one all you need is a pumpkin pie and a cookie cutter.
00:08Cut as many of those cute little shapes as you can and then arrange them on a tray.
00:11Top them with whipped cream and then whatever else you want.
00:14This time I used pecans but you could use candy corn or other treats if they're for kids.
00:17Now we don't like to waste in this house so we're going to use the rest of that pie for treat number two.
00:21Throw the scraps in a bowl and mash it up.
00:23If you like this to be a little bit more moist you can add a tablespoon of pumpkin puree.
00:28Basically what we're making is like a pumpkin pie cake pop except it's not cake it's pie.
00:33You can use an ice cream scooper to scoop these out but I don't have one of those so I'm just using a tablespoon.
00:38While those are chilling in the fridge or freezer melt yourself some chocolate.
00:41You're going to want to heat that in like 10 second increments in the microwave so that it doesn't get all like curdly
00:46or you can do it in a double boiler over a pot.
00:49Once those are all covered you can either choose white chocolate or caramel to put on top and that is it.
00:54So simple and so delicious.
