Some encounters on a sightseeing stop turn into an unexpected bit of company.

The clip shows a monkey staying close to the tour guide and a visitor.

"Our tour guide, Jonathan, took us up the Gibraltar mountain to show us the monkeys that live on top of the mountain. You'll see Larry, a monkey, and our tour guide in the video," the filmer, Jacob, told WooGlobe.

The monkey moves around and clings to them.

It is a small reminder of how quickly a guided outing can shift when the local wildlife decides to take part.

The scene ends with the monkey still lingering near the guide.
